Rockwood, Re: COVID-19 Precautions
To All Rockwood Music Hall Guests & Artists:
We have no doubt been following the news of the spreading Coronavirus, particularly in relation to how various small business are ensuring the safety of their guests and staff. With that in mind, we owe you a statement of our own with updates on the status of our venue and upcoming events.
Rockwood Music Hall maintains the highest of sanitary standards throughout all three stages and bars, and we have taken extra measures to ensure that our staff and guests are not at risk to contract the Coronavirus. This includes strictly following the directions provided from the World Health Organization (WHO) and CDC, as well as reviewing & reinforcing our safety and sanitation procedures with all staff members.
The venue is cleaned and sanitized for 8 hours every morning, 7 days/week, with bleach and alcohol, and all bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized throughout our open hours. Our staff has been instructed to wash and sanitize their hands frequently, wear gloves, and to remain off premises if they are feeling even the slightest of symptoms related to the virus.
If you are attending one of our upcoming events, please wash and sanitize your hands frequently with soap and warm water, and be mindful of those around you as well as the artists on and off the stage. Please stay home if you're feeling ill in any way, and we look forward to seeing you again once you feel better!
We thank you for your support and continued efforts to keep the New York City music scene safe and thriving, and we'll see you at a show soon!
